Anton Holdman started the BPR website a couple of years ago.  Now here are some pictures of his ride at the Some of the Car Show he has participated.

For me, getting into lowriding.....It must have been in the 90s when mini trucks were the thing.  We had two clubs here in Ft. Stockton, TX.  One was the West Texas Toys and the other was Lo Tone.   Lo Tone was the more active club. They threw two big show here in town and had people from Cali, Arizona,  and New Mexico come.  Some of the rides were cars from Dr. Dre's first video from back then. I knew most of the members of lo tone.  They were active with the American cancer society and other organizations.

So that is what got me started.  Because of the time and effort it takes to have a custom vehicle, it keeps you off the streets and out of trouble. As to what keeps me going, it is the pride to have a clean ride and the unity with others who are into lowriding too.  I like some friendly completion also.

For me its not about trophies...It is about sharing ideas, stories, information on paint, parts etc. I am happy if I win, but if I don't its ok, cause its a hobby and not a do or die if I don't win.

Anton's ride is a 1991 Mitsubishi Mighty Max at the Odessa Car Show in November 2003.

The paint is lilac marbleizer with candy purple fireball flake on door jams and under hood.  The paint work was done by Guy Franco and Caesar Luna.

It has two 12 inch speakers in the bed and a Sony deck to pump up the music.  It has 2 inch lowering blocks on the back.  We should be seeing it with 13 X 7 crown wires by next November.
